Özgür Atik (43) and his daughter Nejla Atik (16) lost their lives in the car that crashed into a lighting pole and split into two in the Finike district of Antalya. It was stated that the accident occurred while the father and daughter were returning from the sea.

The accident occurred at around 19.30 yesterday on the Finike-Kumluca highway. The car, under the direction of Özgür Atik, went out of control of its driver and crashed into the lighting pole on the side of the road and split in two. Meanwhile, Özgür Atik and his daughter Nejla Atik jumped out of the vehicle.

Those who saw the accident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. The medical teams who came to the notice determined that Özgür Atik died at the scene. Nejla Atik died in Finike State Hospital, where she was taken by ambulance.
