In the statement made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, it was stated that Iranian Foreign Minister Hussein Emir Abdullahiyan and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi held a phone call where global and regional issues and bilateral relations were discussed.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi thanked Iran for defending the one-China policy and said that the international community defends China’s territorial integrity in the face of US interventionist policies. Noting that they advocated diplomacy between the parties in the Vienna negotiations, Yi stated that they support Iran’s approach in the negotiations. (UAV)
