The European Union (EU) provided 600 million Euros of financial support to Ukraine. The EU Commission has announced that it has given macro financial support to help the Ukrainian economy in the Russia-Ukraine war.

In the statement, it was pointed out that 600 million Euros were paid to Ukraine today, and that the financial support will help to overcome the urgent financing deficit of Ukraine. Reminding that B provided a source of 600 million Euros to Ukraine in March, it was stated that the funds were given to Ukraine in the form of long-term loans on favorable terms. In the statement, it was noted that the financial support will increase Ukraine’s economic stability and contribute to the continuation of public services in the country.

EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced this week that they will provide new support to Ukraine, and within this framework, they are preparing to give new macro-financial assistance up to 9 billion Euros in 2022.
