Software Developer
KBR is looking for a Software Developer to support the Space team in Chantilly,VA.
The successful candidate will assume a key role developing Model Based System Engineering visualization and analysis tools using industry-standard, web-derived user interfaces. This person will contribute to and lead regular deliverables in a fast-paced, customer responsive environment. This candidate will have a foundational computer science (or related) background with the ability to learn and utilize new development skills, languages, and tools. A passion for solving difficult challenges and continuous learning and expansion of skills is a plus.
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
· Experience programming with Java or Python
· Familiarity with Object-Oriented design principles
· Experience using open-source APIs to integrate software and tools in a heterogeneous computing environment
· US Citizen capable of receiving TS/SCI clearance
Highly Desired Experience:
· Experience with JavaScript or Typescript
· Familiarity with web-based, user interface frameworks, especially React
· Background in data science, data engineering, or numerical analytic techniques
· Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or OrientDB
Security Requirements: Active TS/SCI security clearance w/CI Poly
