According to Meta, these companies targeted thousands of people living in more than 100 countries around the world and sought to gather information for their various customers. In the statement, it was stated that users in the USA, New Zealand, Mexico, Hong Kong and Poland were affected by this situation. It is stated that their companies are accessing targeted users through fake accounts and trying to install spying software on their devices.
