11 people died in flood disaster in Iraq

In the flood disaster in Erbil, Iraq, 11 people, including a Turkish citizen, lost their lives. Erbil Governor Omid Hosnav, in a statement to the local media, said that as of last night, floods and floods occurred in many neighborhoods and regions within the borders of the province due to heavy rains.

Stating that the houses of the citizens were under water while they were asleep, therefore the loss of life was high, Governor Hoşnav noted that the situation is now under control. Erbil District Governor Nebez Abdülmecid also stated that 11 people, including 1 Turkish citizen, lost their lives in the flood disaster.

Abdulmecid did not give details about the identity information of the Turkish citizen who lost his life. Star Ağa Ömer, the Manager of Kuştepe Town of Erbil, which was most affected by the flood, informed that 100 houses and 60 shops were completely submerged and 200 vehicles became unusable.
