  • The successful candidate will be responsible for turning raw supply chain data into information and insights in the form of reports and dashboards. This is an exciting opportunity for an early career young professional to work across the GS EMEA’s projects and functions and provides the opportunity to build a career as a Systems & Data Analyst. There is plenty to learn for the candidate who is enthusiastic and has a willingness to deliver. This role requires UK based security clearance – BPSS, SC or NPPV3. KBR uses both bespoke and commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems, including but not limited to:
    • SAP
    • Deltek Costpoint
    • KBRSupplier (KBR’s in-house supplier management/tendering tool)
    • SPE
    • SharePoint
    • Manage and maintain the GS EMEA Supply Chain reports list.
    • Clean, join and aggregate data using T-SQL (Microsoft) and SQL (Oracle) from multiple internal and external data sources.
    • Receive and triage data requests from the business and establish the best method of data delivery.
    • Create ad-hoc SSRS reports or data extracts across all KBR GS EMEA systems.
    • Building PowerBI dashboards to help with automation of reporting and merging multiple sources of data together.
    • Creation of clear report guides to a level that they can be run without further guidance.
    • Testing report functionality and usability before promotion into production environment.
    • Understand and ensure version control is implemented on all reports.
    • Monitor and ensure data quality is preserved in data tables and suggest remediation to applicable teams.
    • Working with database administrators to ensure availability, accuracy and timeliness of data is uninterrupted.
    • User support requests and system issues : participate in user support resolution within the system and provides users with guidance through email responses, phone call and/or screen sharing applications such as Teams.
    • Handle all data securely and responsibly, observing the Data Protection Act and Company Code of Conduct.GENERAL SKILLS THIS ROLE REQUIRES

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
    • Enthusiasm and a demonstrable interest in data analysis.
    • Show an aptitude to learn how to create data reports based on user requirements using reporting tools such as SSRS, PowerBI, MS Access and Excel, which are easily readable, cleanly presented, user friendly reports.
    • Ability to explain and present technical information to non-technical users. Often data analyses will need to be presented to stakeholders via PowerPoint.
    • Ability to receive and understand user system queries, analyse and resolve.
    • Shows the aptitude to learn how to create and deliver user training, both face-to-face and via conference/web calls.
    • A basic understanding of Supply Chain P2P and ERP systems and activities (such as requisitions, purchase orders etc) in a project environment would be advantageous
    • Understands the fundamentals of database system design, implementation and maintenance.
    • Show an aptitude to learn how our systems integrate and interface.
    • Focuses effort on agreed targets, ensuring contribution to the overall departmental Supply Chain targets.
    • Proposes personal training needs in relation to the role remit.
    • Actively participate in quarterly 1-2-1s to review progress against targets.
    • Participate in team meetings.
    • Report to line manager on work activities, priorities and upcoming tasks.
    • Perform and/or delegate other office duties or projects as required or assigned.
    • Participate and/or assist in performance evaluations (suppliers, equipment, systems, as applicable).
    • Contribute to improving processes through innovative thinking and embracing new technologies.
    • Assist CPO when needed.To obtain the relevant security clearance, KBR can only consider applicants who have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom, and who have lived in the UK for at least the past three years.
